BACKGROUND

Born in Santa Rosa, California, Sharon spent 34 years in Bend, Oregon, where she rose to IT Director for LifeWise and Premera Blue Cross. After purchasing land in the Mountain Lakes development, she settled in Rocky Point and joined the Fire-EMS Board in 2024.
 

ROLE IN ROCKY POINT

As Board Secretary, Sharon applies decades of leadership and budgeting experience to keep minutes precise, finances transparent, and projects on track. Her mission is to foster a unified, well-supported community that works for every resident.
 

BEYOND THE BOARDROOM

A lifelong outdoorswoman, Sharon divides free time between horseback riding, fishing, hunting, and experimenting in the kitchen—or writing about all three. She is a widow who shares her place with a loyal dog, a trusty horse, and her younger brother. After vacationing at nearby Howard Prairie Lake for more than 40 years, she now calls these forests home and lives out her passion for caregiving by helping anyone in need.
