The Board of Directors understands that there has been much confusion around the former fire chief's departure. In the interest of full transparency, the board is posting her resignation letter. 

Resignation

I started my job as Fire Chief for Rocky Point Fire and EMS on November 1, 2018 after the passing of Chief Glenn Harmon.

It has been almost 7 years of blood, sweat and tears but we have accomplished a lot in that time.  I feel that is time I leave Rocky Point for various reasons. I wish the Department all the best in the future and have made some wonderful friends and hope to stay in contact with them.

My last day will be June30, 2025 .  I would like to complete this FY year  and finish up the budget and proctor the new Emt, but if you would like me to leave earlier I understand.
