Kristi VanDuker

BACKGROUND
Born and raised in the Rogue Valley, Kristi brings experience in manufacturing, design, and management. She has trained in leadership and lean manufacturing, with a knack for organizing systems and processes.
PATH TO ROCKY POINT
Kristi and her mother chose Rocky Point for lake life and a quieter pace they have always loved. She joined the department recently and jumped in where help was needed.
ROLE IN ROCKY POINT
Kristi serves as a volunteer driver, gofer, and traffic control. She is currently taking EMT training so she can support medical response when needed.
WHAT SHE BRINGS AND FOCUS
Kristi applies lean methods to streamline administration, create adaptable tools, and improve efficiency so crews can focus on emergency response. She is committed to community outreach and to building relationships through problem solving and special projects.
BEYOND THE STATION
Off duty, Kristi enjoys kayaking, hiking, and time outdoors. She and her mother live on the same property, care for pets, work on their landscape, and host friends and family. She roasts coffee, likes to build and fix things, and has started stained glass projects. Her children and grandchildren remain in the Rogue Valley, keeping roots strong on both sides of the hill.
