Jennifer Lewis

BACKGROUND
Raised on the Southern California coast, Jennifer found public service early as a junior lifeguard. She later built a career in law enforcement programs within regional jails in Central California.
PATH TO ROCKY POINT
Jennifer chose Rocky Point for its rural character and because the community maintains an ambulance with a trained crew. That capability is essential for her own health and for her medically fragile children.
ROLE IN ROCKY POINT
Recently returned to the board, Jennifer focuses on administrative support for the department. She works to keep processes clear, paperwork timely, and crews supported so responders can stay focused on calls.
WHAT SHE BRINGS AND FOCUS
Jennifer blends EMT training with systems experience from public safety and corrections. Her priorities include strong EMS coverage, practical administrative workflows, and transparent communication with the community.
BEYOND THE BOARDROOM
Off duty, Jennifer enjoys long walks, quiet days by the lake, and every moment she can spend with her kids. A point of pride for her family. The department mentored her daughter from young volunteer through cadet training, with encouragement from David Carpenter and Bruce Harp. Her daughter now serves as a firefighter in the United States Air Force.
